Tato norma specifikuje zkušební zařízení a postupy pro stanovení dlouhodobé navlhavosti zkušebních těles při difuzi. Platí pro tepelněizolační výrobky. Zkouškou se simuluje navlhavost výrobků oboustranně vystavených vysoké relativní vlhkosti blížící se 100 % a vystavených gradientu tlaku vodní páry po dlouhé časové období, např. izolace obrácené střechy nebo nechráněné základové izolace. Zkoušku nelze použít pro všechny typy tepelněizolačních výrobků. Norma výrobku musí stanovit, pro které výrobky v ní uvedené platí
