Norma ČSN EN ISO 18453 specifikuje metodu, která poskytuje uživatelům spolehlivý matematický vztah mezi obsahem vody a rosným bodem vody v zemním plynu, pokud je jedna z těchto hodnot známa. Tato výpočtová metoda byla vyvinuta GERG a lze jí použít pro výpočet obsahu vody i rosného bodu vody.
V normě ČSN EN ISO 18453 je uvedena nejistota tohoto vztahu, není však záměrem kvantifikovat nejistoty měření.
