Tato evropská norma specifikuje metodu stanovení dalaponu, kyseliny trichloroctové (TCA) a vybraných halogenoctových kyselin v podzemních a pitných vodách metodou plynové chromatografie (detekce GC-ECD a/nebo GC-MS) po extrakci kapalina-kapalina a derivatizaci diazomethanem. Podle matrice lze metodu použít pro koncentrační rozsah od 0,5 µg/l do 10 µg/l. Validovaná uváděná mezní hodnota u TCA a dalaponu je asi 0,05 µg/l. Detekce detektorem elektronového záchytu (ECD) vede všeobecně k nižším hodnotám meze detekce. Detekce hmotnostním detektorem (MS) umožňuje identifikaci analytu
