Tato část ISO 9073 popisuje metodu zkoušení pro zjišťování množství kapaliny napodobující moč, jejíž stanovené množství se předepsanou rychlostí a za určených podmínek nalije na zkušební vzorek. Přebytečné množství kapaliny, která steče po zkušebním vzorku položeném na standardním absorpčním prostředku na nakloněné rovině, se zachytí standardní jímací podložkou umístěnou pod spodní hranou zkušebního vzorku a změří se.
