Tato část EN ISO 9311 specifikuje tři zkušební metody vhodné pro stanovení roztíratelnosti a vlastností filmu rozpouštědlových lepidel pro potrubní systémy z termoplastů. Tyto metody přímo neposkytují srovnatelné výsledky. Jedna metoda je určena pro ne-tixotropní lepidla a další dvě metody jsou určeny pro tixotropní lepidla. Zkoušené lepidlo se pomocí speciálně navrženého aplikátoru aplikuje na zkušební desku předem stanovenou rychlostí po dané délce. Pak se hodnotí jeho roztíratelnost srovnáváním se šablonou. U filmu lepidla se hodnotí spojitost a nebo přítomnost cizích materiálů.
