Tato norma je českou verzí mezinárodní normy ISO 1388-10:1981. Mezinárodní norma ISO 1388-10:1981 má status české technické normy. Tato desátá část (ČSN) ISO 1388 specifikuje destilační metodu vhodnou ke stanovení obsahu uhlovodíků v ethanolu pro průmyslové použití. Princip metody a postup při jejím provádění je popsán.
