Tato norma specifikuje metodu stanovení vybraných jednotlivých izomerů nonylfenolu v nefiltrovaných vzorcích pitné, odpadní, podzemní a povrchové vody. Metoda je použitelná v koncentracích od 0,001 g/l do 0,1 g/l pro jednotlivé izomery a od 0,01 g/l do 0,2 g/l pro sumu 4-nonylfenolu (směs izomerů). V závislosti na matrici je metoda použitelná v koncentracích mezi 0,1 g/l a 50 g/l také pro odpadní vody
