Tato část ISO 7965 stanoví metodu zkoušení naplněných plastových pytlů vertikálním rázem při volném pádu. Zkouška může být použita samostatně ke zjištění účinnosti vertikálního rázu nebo jako součást programu zkoušek k posouzení schopnosti balení odolávat riziku volného pádu v systému oběhu. Tato část ISO 7965 stanoví zkušební postup a způsob záznamu výsledků zkoušek. Je odvozena z ISO 2248, avšak vztahuje se na plastové pytle.
