Der vorliegende Teil dieser Norm ist in Verbindung mit Teil 1 der Norm für Blech und Breitflachstahl aus legierten Edelstählen mit höherer Festigkeit anzuwenden. Die Stahlsorten und Gütegruppen werden mit den Anforderungen nach Tabelle 1 (chemische Zusammensetzung) sowie nach den Tabellen 2 bis 4 (mechanische Eigenschaften) im ausscheidungsgehärteten Zustand geliefert. Die Stähle nach dieser Norm werden für warmgewalztes Blech und warmgewalzten Breitflachstahl mit Nenndicken von 3 mm bis 70 mm verwendet und weisen im ausscheidungsgehärteten Zustand Mindestwerte der Streckgrenze im Bereich von 500 N/mm2 bis 690 N/mm2 auf.
