Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Verpackungsblecherzeugnisse in Form von Band in Coils für die direkte Verwendung und hauptsächlich zur Erzeugung von Weißblech, elektrolytisch spezial-verchromtem Blech und elektrolytisch verzinktem Blech fest. Feinstblech wird in Nenndicken von typischerweise 0,10 mm bis 0,60 mm in Stufen von 0,005 mm geliefert. Diese Europäische Norm ist für Band in Coils mit einer minimalen Nennbreite von 600 mm anwendbar. In Ergänzung zu dieser Norm gelten die allgemeinen technischen Lieferbedingungen nach EN 10021.
