Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an unterpulvergeschweißte (en: submerged arc welded, SAW) und hochfrequenzgeschweißte (en: high frequency welded, HFW) kaltgeformte Hohlprofile fest, die zur Herstellung von feststehenden Offshore-Konstruktionen verwendet werden. Die Dickenbeschränkungen betragen für SAWL-Hohlprofile mit rundem Querschnitt 50,8 mm und für HFW-Hohlprofile mit rundem Querschnitt 25,4 mm und für HFW-Hohlprofile mit quadratischem und rechteckigem Querschnitt 12,5 mm. Größere Dicken können für SAWL-Hohlprofile vereinbart werden, vorausgesetzt die technischen Lieferbedingungen dieser Europäischen Norm werden eingehalten.
