Die vorliegende Europäische Norm enthält die Anforderungen an dünnes nichtkornorientiertes Elektroband und -blech der Nenndicken 0,05 mm; 0,10 mm; 0,15 mm; 0,20 mm; 0,25 mm; 0,27 mm; 0,30 mm und 0,35 mm sowie dünnes kornorientiertes Elektroband und -blech der Nenndicken 0,05 mm, 0,10 mm; 0,15 mm und 0,18 mm. Im Einzelnen sind die allgemeinen Anforderungen, die magnetischen Eigenschaften, die geometrischen Eigenschaften und Toleranzen, die technologischen Eigenschaften sowie die Prüfverfahren festgelegt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Elektroband und -blech im schlussgeglühten Zustand in der Form von Rollen, das für die Herstellung magnetischer Kreise bei Frequenzen von 100 Hz und mehr bestimmt ist.
