Diese ÖNORM EN legt funktionelle Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die Klasseneinteilung der Durchschußhemmung von Glas und Glas/Kunststoff-Verbunden fest. Sie gibt Hinweise über den Anwendungsbereich und definiert den Begriff "Durchschusshemmende Verglasung" sowie damit zusammenhängende Begriffe. In den Tabellen 1 und 2 sind die Klasseneinteilung und die Prüfbedingungen für durchschußhemmende Verglasungen enthalten. Weiters beschreibt die Norm die Meßproben für die Typprüfung und das Prüfverfahren und gibt Hinweise zur Erstellung des Prüfberichtes und über die Kennzeichnung.
