Diese Europäische Norm legt Folgendes fest: - Maße und Dichtheit sowie mechanisches und hydraulisches Verhalten, die/das Brauseschläuche aufweisen sollten; - die Verfahren zur Prüfung auf Einhaltung dieser Anforderungen. Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt unabhängig vom verwendeten Werkstoff für Brauseschläuche für die Körperhygiene als Ausrüstung und Ergänzung von Sanitärarmaturen in Bädern und Duschen. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Brauseschläuche für den Anschluss nach dem Absperrorgan der Armatur. Diese Europäische Norm deckt keine Schläuche zur Verbindung der Sanitärarmaturen mit der Wasserver-sorgung und keine Schläuche ab, die integraler Bestandteil der Sanitärarmatur sind (Mischbatterien für Spülbecken und Handwaschbecken).
