Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfterfahren fur Temperaturschock und Temperaturwechselbeständigkeit spröder Werkstoffe fest, zum Beispiel fir Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik fur den Gebrauch in Ofen und als Tafelgeschirr. Zwei Prüfiedahren werden beschrieben: - Verfahren A wird verwendet fur Artikel, von denen bekannt ist, daß sie empfindlich gegen schroffen Temperaturwechsel sind; - Verfahren B ist allgemein anwendbar. Das jeweils anzuwendende Prüfterfahren hängt vom beabsichtigten Gebrauch eines Artikels undoder von seiner Temperaturwechselbeständigkeit ab.
