Beschrieben werden Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Gesamtmigration aus Kunststoffen und Gegenstände in fettige Prüflebensmittel durch Extraktion in einem Gemisch aus 14C-markierten synthetischen Triglyceriden über festgelegte Zeiten bei Temperaturen oberhalb 20 °C bis einschließlich 121 °C. Diese Verfahren sind geeignet für Kunststoffe in Form von Folien und Lagen und für einen großen Bereich von Gegenständen oder Behältern, aus denen Prüfmuster geeigneter Größe ausgeschnitten werden können, sowie für Behälter und Gegenstände, die gefüllt werden können. Die beschriebenen Prüfverfahren sind auf alle Kunststoffarten anwendbar.
