Dieses Dokument legt die Technischen Lieferbedingungen für stranggepresste Präzisionsprofile aus den Legierungen EN AW-6060 und EN AW-6063 fest, die mit oder ohne Wärmedämmung (siehe Bild 1 und Bild 2) hergestellt werden und ohne weitere Oberflächenbehandlung geliefert werden. Präzisionsprofile, für die dieses Dokument gilt, unterscheiden sich von den stranggepressten Profilen für allgemeine Anwendungen nach EN 755-9 wie folgt: - sie werden mit meist gleichmäßigen Wanddicken ausgeführt; - sie werden hauptsächlich im Maschinenbau, in der Architektur und im Automobilbau (außer Crashelementen) eingesetzt; - das maximale Metergewicht beträgt 10 kg/m; - das maximale Wanddickenverhältnis (tmax/tmin) beträgt 3,5. Bei Profilen, die aufgrund ihrer komplexen Konstruktion schwierig herzustellen und zu spezifizieren sind, können besondere Vereinbarungen zwischen Lieferer und Käufer notwendig sein.
