Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren für Holzschutzmittel fest, die zur Behandlung von Holz vorgesehen sind, das ohne Erdkontakt und ohne zusätzlichen Schutz durch eine Oberflächenbeschichtung der Witterung ausgesetzt werden soll. Das Verfahren ist zur Prüfung handelsüblicher oder zur Entwicklung neuer Holzschutzmittel anzuwenden, die mit für die gewerbliche Praxis geeigneten Verfahrensweisen auf /eingebracht werden. Das Verfahren ist für chemische Erzeugnisse anzuwenden, die einzeln oder in Kombination verwendet werden, um die Entwicklung von Fäulnis in Holz und/oder - wahlweise - die Entwicklung von verfärbenden Organismen in Holz und, falls zutreffend, in Holzprodukten, zu verhindern.
