Die vorliegende Norm legt die Prüfungen fest, die zur Beurteilung der Eignung von Schaummitteln für die Erzeugung von Mittelschaum (aus Schaummitteln nach prEN 1568-1) oder von Hochschaum (aus Schaummitteln nach prEN 1568-2) und von Feuerlöschpulver nach EN 61 5 bei Flüssigerdgas(LNG)-Bränden einzeln oder gemeinsam eingesetzt werden. Diese Norm enthält nicht die allgemeinen Anforderungen an Schaummittel, die in prEN 1568-1 und prEN 1568-2 oder, für Feuerlöschpulver, in EN 61 5 wiedergegeben sind. Diese Norm ist nicht anwendbar auf Schaummittel zur Erzeugung von Niedrigschäumen (aus Schaummitteln nach prEN 1 568-3), die nicht in LNG-Anlagen eingesetzt werden.
