Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen fest und beschreibt Prüfverfahren für flexible und starre Verbindungen fest, die in CO2-Feuerlöschanlagen, Inertgas-Feuerlöschanlagen und Feuerlöschanlagen mit halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffen eingesetzt werden. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Verbindungen, die verwendet werden zwischen Behälterventilen und dem Sammelrohr (Typ 1- und Typ 5-Verbindung), in pneumatischen Steuerleitungen (Typ 3-Verbindung) und in Düsenrohrnetzen von Löschanlagen hinter dem Sammelrohr/dem Bereichsventil (Type 2- oder Typ 4-Verbindung).
