Diese Europäische Norm legt Systemanforderungen (Leistungsanforderungen) fest sowie grundsätzliche Anforderungen an dessen Entwurf und Ausführung, einschließlich der zugehörigen Prüfverfahren, für Unterdruckentwässerungs- Systeme (UES) innerhalb von Gebäuden, die häusliches Schmutzwasser aus Wohnungen und gewerblichen Einrichtungen unter Ausschluß von Regenwasser ableiten. Für den Fall, daß Anforderungen an die in Unterdruckentwässerungssystemen eingesetzten Produkte benötigt werden, enthält Anhang D (informativ) Hinweise auf Leistungsanforderungen, Entwurf, Prüfung und Qualitäts- Sicherung. Das Schwerkraftentwässerungssystem, das das Schmutzwasser in das Unterdruckentwässerungssystem ableitet, ist nicht Gegenstand dieser Europäischen Norm.
