Diese Europäische Norm legt die Zusammensetzung, die Anforderungen an die Eigenschaften und die Grenzabmaße für durch Ziehen oder Pressen endgefertigte Profile, einschließlich Profilen mit L-, T- und U-förmigen Querschnitten und Rechteckstangen aus Kupferlegierungen fest. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Profile mit L-, T- und U-förmigen Querschnitten mit einem Durchmesser des umschreibenden Kreises von höchstens 180 mm und Rechteckstangen mit Dicken von 3 mm bis 60 mm und Breiten von 6 mm bis 120 mm.
