Dieser Teil von ISO 105 legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Widerstandsfähigkeit der Farben von Textilien aller Art und in allen Verarbeitungszuständen gegen die Einwirkung von aktivem Chlor in solchen Konzentrationen fest, wie sie zur Desinfizierung von Badewasser in Schwimmbädern verwendet werden (Grenzwert-Chlorierung). Es sind drei alternative Prüfbedingungen festgelegt. Die aktiven Chlorkonzentrationen von 50 mg/l und 100 mg/l betreffen die Beanspruchungen für Schwimmbekleidung. Die Konzentration an aktivem Chlor von 20 mg/l ist für Badezubehör, wie z. B. Bademäntel und Handtücher, vorgesehen.
