Die vorliegende Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Messung der Gasdurch-lässigkeit durch eine geosynthetische Tondichtungsbahn fest. Da geosynthetische Tondichtungsbahnen verwendet werden, um Gase in Langzeitanwendungen einzugrenzen, ist diese Prüfung speziell auf den stationären Zustand dieser Erscheinung ausgerichtet. Die Prüfung erfolgt mit Stickstoff, z. B. N2 (μ = 1,75 × 10-5 Pa.s, - = 1,15 kg/m3 bei 20 °C). Das Prüfverfahren und das beschriebene Prüfgerät erlaubt die Messung des Gasdurchflusses im Bereich von 0,1 ml/min bis 5 l/min an Mess-proben mit einem Feuchtigkeitsgehalt im Bereich von 90 % bis 130 %.
