Dieser Teil der ISO 10893 legt die Anforderungen an die automatisierte elektromagnetische Prüfung nahtloser und geschweißter Stahlrohre - mit Ausnahme unterpulvergeschweißter (SAW-) Rohre - zur Verifizierung der Dichtheit fest. Das Dokument ist anwendbar für die Prüfung mittels Wirbelstromtechnik für Rohre mit einem Außendurchmesser ab 4 mm und für die Prüfung mittels Streuflusstechnik für Rohre mit einem Außendurchmesser größer als 10 mm. Dieses Dokument kann auch für die Prüfung von Hohlprofilen angewendet werden.
