Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 ist gemeinsam mit ISO 11111-1 anzuwenden. Er benennt signifikante Gefährdungen für Vorbereitungsmaschinen für die Weberei und Wirkerei und legt die entsprechenden Sicherheitsanforderungen und/oder Maßnahmen fest. Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 gilt für alle Maschinen, Anlagen und zugehörige Einrichtungen, die für das Zetteln, Schären, Bäumen, Schlichten, Schlichte ansetzen und Lagern von Kettbäumen vorgesehen und in Abschnitt 5 spezifiziert sind, wobei der Anwendungsbereich von ISO 11111-1 soweit zutreffend zu berücksichtigen ist. Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 wird ergänzt durch die Typ C-Normen ISO 9902-1 und ISO 9902-5 in Bezug auf Geräuschmessverfahren und ISO 23771 in Bezug auf Maßnahmen zur Reduzierung der Geräuschemissionen.
