Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 ist gemeinsam mit ISO 11111-1 anzuwenden. Er benennt signifikante Gefährdungen durch Maschinen zur Herstellung textiler Flächengebilde und legt die entsprechenden Sicherheitsanforderungen und/oder Maßnahmen fest. Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 gilt für alle Maschinen, Anlagen und zugehörige Einrichtungen, die für das Weben, Wirken, Stricken und Tuften vorgesehen und in Abschnitt 5 spezifiziert sind, wobei der Anwendungsbereich von ISO 11111-1 soweit zutreffend zu berücksichtigen ist. Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 wird ergänzt durch die Typ C-Normen ISO 9902-1 und ISO 9902-6 in Bezug auf Geräuschmessverfahren und ISO 23771 in Bezug auf Maßnahmen zur Reduzierung der Geräuschemissionen.
