Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der scheinbaren Dichte von metallischen Strahlmitteln fest. Der Zweck dieser Prüfung ist es, den guten Zustand des metallischen Strahlmittels festzustellen. Wesentliche Anteile von hohlen Körnern oder solchen mit inneren Schrumpfungen verringern die scheinbare Dichte. Dies ist ein Teil aus einer Reihe von Teilen von ISO 11125, die die Probenahme und die Prüfung von metallischen Strahlmitteln behandelt. Die Strahlmitteltypen und Anforderungen an diese sind in den verschiedenen Teilen von ISO 11124 enthalten. Die Normenreihen ISO 11124 und ISO 11125 wurden als zusammengehöriger Satz von Internationalen Normen über metallische Strahlmittel ausgearbeitet.
