Dieser Teil der ISO 11148 gibt Sicherheitsanforderungen für handgehaltene nicht elektrisch betriebene Maschinen (im nachstehenden Text als "Schleifmaschinen für Schleifmittel" bezeichnet) zum Schleifen und Trennen mit Hilfe von Schleifmitteln an, die an sämtlichen Materialarten verwendet werden können.
