Dieses Dokument legt ein volumetrisches Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Silber aus einem als homogen angesehenen Material fest. Der Silbergehalt der Probe liegt vorzugsweise zwischen 100 und 999,0 Teilen je Tausend (Promille) nach Masse. Der Feingehalt über 999,0 Promille kann mit einer spektroskopischen Methode durch Differenz (z. B. ISO 15096) bestimmt werden. Diese Methode ist als Referenzverfahren zur Bestimmung des Feingehalts von Legierungen wie in ISO 9202 angegeben vorgesehen.
