Dieses Dokument bezieht sich nur auf die Schweißpositionen PA und PB nach ISO 6947. Wenn PC angewendet wird, ist eine besondere Vorbereitung notwendig. Dieses Dokument ist für volldurchschweißte Nähte anwendbar. Bei teilweise durchgeschweißten Nähten können die Art der Schweißnahtvorbereitung, Formen und Maße von den aufgeführten Vorschlägen abweichen, wenn diese in der entsprechenden Anwendungsnorm oder in einer Vereinbarung zwischen den beteiligten Vertragspartnern festgelegt sind.
