Tato norma stanovi technicke pozadavky na vlastnosti vody pouzivane k napajeni a provozu - horkovodnich a parnich kotlu s pracovnim tlakem pary do 8 MPa, - teplovodnich a nizkotlakych parnich kotlu s nejvyssi pracovni teplotou do 115^C o jmenovitem vykonu vyssim nez 60 kW; - elektrokotlu pripojenych k soustavam podle CSN 38 3350:1988; - odparek, menicu a rychlovyvijecu pary tak, aby v kotlich a ostatnich castech soustavy nevznikly usazeniny nebo koroze, a aby vyrobena para byla technicky cista. Norma stanovi pozadavky na vlastnosti vyrobene pary, kondenzatu, pridavne vody a vody pro vstrikovou regulaci teploty prehrate pary.
