Tato norma urcuje titracni metodu pro stanoveni celkoveho obsahu zeleza. Vzorek se rozlozi smesi kyseliny chlorovodikove s kyselinou fluorovodikovou a po oxidaci peroxidem vodiku se odparenim roztoku s kyselinou chloristou odstrani kremik. Pak se odstrani chrom ve forme chloridu chromylu, pripadny nerozlozeny zbytek se dotavi s disiranem sodnym a po rozpusteni taveniny se pripoji k puvodnimu roztoku. po uprave kyselosti se zelezite soli titruji odmernym roztokem kyseliny askorbove na kyselinu sulfosalicylovou jako indikator. Metoda je vhodna pro stanoveni zeleza ve vzorcich s obsahem molybdenu do 0,2 |procenta|.
