Tato norma urcuje spektrofotometricke stanoveni oxidu fosforecneho ve forme redukovaneho fosforecnano-molybdenanoveho komplexu. Stanoveni je zalozeno na mereni intenzity modreho zbarveni, ziskaneho redukci fosforecnano-molybdenoveho komplexu kyselinou askorbovou v pritomnosti antimonite soli. Pripadny rusivy vliv arsenu se odstrani jeho oddelenim ve forme bromidu odparenim roztoku s kyselinou bromovodikovou a chloristou.
