Táto európska norma špecifikuje metódu kontinuálneho merania na zisťovanie koncentrácie oxidu dusičitého a oxidu dusnatého vo vonkajšom ovzduší, ktorá je založená na princípe merania chemiluminiscencie.Táto norma opisuje pracovné charakteristiky a ustanovuje príslušné minimálne požiadavky na výber vhodného chemiluminiscenčného analyzátora pomocou skúšok na schválenie typu.Obsahuje aj hodnotenie vhodnosti analyzátora na použitie na konkrétnom mieste stáleho merania, aby spĺňal požiadavky na kvalitu údajov podľa prílohy I smernice 2008/50/ES [1] a požiadavky na vzorkovanie, kalibráciu a zabezpečovanie kvality.
