Táto časť IEC 60669 platí pre požiarne spínače používané na prerušovanie nízkonapäťových obvodov pre vonkajšie a vnútorné svetelné značky a svietidlá, napríklad neónové svetelné značky iba na striedavý prúd s menovitým napätím neprevyšujúcim 440 V a menovitým prúdom neprevyšujúcim 125 A. Požiarne spínače vyhovujúce tejto norme sú vhodné na použitie v rozsahu teploty od -25 °C do +70 °C.
