Tato mezinarodni norma stanovi nazev prislusny pro kazdou cast stroje a s odkazem na ISO 230/1, jak geometricke, tak pracovni zkousky pro frezky profilovaci dvoustranne, tristranne, ctyrstranne a udava odpovidajici mezni uchylky, ktere plati pro stroje vseobecneho ucelu pouziti a bezne presnosti. Tato mezinarodni norma stanovi pouze overeni presnosti stroje. Norma neplati pro zkouseni chodu stroje (vibrace, nadmerny hluk, prokluzovani komponentu, atd.), ani jeho charakteristik (rychlosti, posuvy atd.), ktere by mely byt obecne kontrolovany pred zkousenim presnosti.
