Účelem této technické normalizační informace (TNI) je vydání informace o některých ustanoveních FprEN 1337-1, které nejsou obsažené v ČSN EN 1337-1:2002, nebo její obsah aktualizují či zpřesňují. Od dubna 2010 platí normy ČSN EN 1990 až 1999 (Eurokódy) a ustanovení této TNI jsou v souladu s Eurokódy.
