Tato technická normalizační informace uvádí závěry studie v oblasti porovnání výsledků testů rozdílné použitelnosti paliv za nízkých teplot (tekutost, bod zákalu) ve vztahu ke skutečné výkonnosti paliva v motorech v reálných podmínkách při nízkých teplotách (pod bodem zákalu paliva). Pro tuto práci byly použity historické údaje o výsledcích manuálních i automatizovaných testů pro staré (1988), současné i budoucí koncepce motorů. Byla zkoumána paliva vyrobená destilací ropy a methylesterů mastných kyselin (FAME = Fatty Acid Methyl Esters) a jejich obvyklých směsí, běžně dostupných na trhu
