Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 3586-82 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP doplňuje jeden článek. Norma platí pro hydrostatické a pneumostatické mechanismy a jejich části. Neplatí pro potrubí, hadice a jejich spoje. ČSN 11 9002 byla schválena 17.2.1984 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1986.
"Změnou a)-8/1990" se s účinností od 1.10.1990 doplňuje do úvodního ustanovení věta, že "norma neplatí pro hadice s koncovkami, ani pro samostatné části, tj. hadice s strojírenské šroubení.
