Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 2478-80 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Norma RVHP platí pro pneumostatické mechanismy a prvky s jmenovitým tlakem 0,16 MPa až 1,6 MPa a určuje všeobecné technické požadavky na konstrukci, výrobu, montáž a provoz. ČSN 10 9004 byla schválena 25.6.1982 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1983
