Tato norma specifikuje metodiku pro stanovení vitamínu K1 v potravinách. Stanovení vitamínu K1 je prováděno měřením redukovaného fyllochinonu. Po enzymatickém odstranění tuku ze vzorku, je vitamín K1 stanovován ve vhodném roztoku vzorku metodou vysokoúčinné kapalinové chromatografie s postkolonovou redukcí a následnou fluorimetrickou detekcí. Izomery vitamínu K1 jsou kvantifikovány jako jeden nerozdělený pík na koloně C18.
