Tato evropská norma popisuje prostředky pro stanovení pevnosti spojení mezi nastříkaným betonem a podkladem betonu nebo skály, zkoušenou v laboratoři jako prostou pevnost v tahu. Pevnost spojení je definována jako schopnost přenášet napětí v tahu mezi dvěma vrstvami. Pevnost spojení se vypočte jako mezní tah dělený namáhanou plochou vývrtu, který se odvrtá z nastříkané vrstvy betonu spolu s části betonového nebo skalního podkladu.
