Norma obsahuje ISO 8119-2:1989. Stanovuje terminologii háčkových jehel. Jde o jehly plochého nebo kruhového průřezu s pružným háčkem. Během tvorby očka je háček uzavírán přitlačením do žlábku stvolu. Odborné termíny jsou uvedeny v češtině, slovenštině a v oficiálních jazycích ISO (angličtině, francouzštině, ruštině). Jsou připojeny i termíny německé, které nelze považovat za oficiální.
