Tato mezinárodní norma specifikuje dvě metody stanovení titrační kyselosti ovocných a zeleninových výrobků, potenciometrickou referenční metodu a provozní metodu používající barevný indikátor. Podle dohody se druhá metoda používá pro vína. V případě některých barevných výrobků může být obtížné určit bod ekvivalence při titraci u druhé metody a pak by měla být přednostně použita první metoda
